Always the bridesmaid, never the bride. Always number two, never number one. Aveena Mitchell has always been second her whole life. The forgotten Mitchell sister. She is a wallflower, a person you wouldn't normally noticed or pick out in a crowd. She was always close to her father. The only person who has every seen her as number one. Her father Pedro Mitchell, was a famous F1 driver, until he got in a nasty accident and lost control of both of his legs. Wheelchair - bound, he became a shell of the great man he used to be. He began to drink, but he never ever forgot about his beloved child: Vee. When she was 11 years old, she found her father's dead body in their garage. He had killed himself. From that day on, Vee's life forever changed.
Her baby sister is the breadwinner of the family. A beautiful talented young woman, won a singing competition when she was just 7 years old, now a big youtuber. Their mother quit her job, to become a full time manager for Aveena's perfect little sister. It is wrong to assume, that Vee hates her sister, her sister is a good person, but Vee does often feel forgotten next to her. Vee pretty much moonlight as her sisters personal assistent. Where ever her sister wants to go, Vee has to drive her. Drive her and pick her up, it is very much like, Vee isn't her own person anymore.
A people pleaser, to afraid to say no or stand up for herself. Vee can be a pushover by the people that she loves. She is not the popular girl, she doesn't drink, party og act like a "normal" young woman. She was never invited to anything cool, which she is fine with. A lovely quite girl. She can be somewhat judgmental and belives the rumors she hears about people. If a friend wants to drink and do drug, she is known for cutting the person off. She is a person, that thrives on her own. She likes being on her own.
Love isn't really in the cards for her. That is not because she isn't a hopeless romantic, cause she is! just look at the type of books she reads! but she is just not the girl, people fall for. She has always seen herself, as the main characters best friend, the one that comes with advice, the one whos shoulder, the main character cries on, when she gets her heartbroken. She has learned to accept it, it just is what it is.
She has never been the big risk taker, but she is a dreamer. She has all of these big dreams, where she just gets up and leaves everything and everyone behind. She wants to be the main character, dye her hair pink, get tattoos and picerings, but she is just too scared to do it. To scared to fail.
